Heritage House Museum of
The Heritage House Museum of Montgomery County,
was officially incorporated in 1998 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit
The museum is operated entirely from private
and membership dues.
Our staff is comprised primarily of volunteers.
We are pleased that we are able to operate
without any tax
The Heritage House Museum is dedicated to
the history of Montgomery County and providing educational
relating to that history.
Preserving the words, deeds, and activities
made up the daily lives of our ancestors. Special emphasis will be
on the effects and contributions of the timber industry, quartz
and Lake Ouachita. The historical period represented will be from
1800 to 1975.
Preserve the colorful
history of Montgomery County utilizing exhibits, archival records,
activities and special events as deemed appropriate by the Board of
